  3. kaylakozu said: My mom took over when our original leader just up and left, if I recall there should be a local council that oversees the Girl Scouts in your area that okays someone to be a leader. They help oversee big stuff: camps, cookies, trips, etc. My mom gave us a lot of options for fun stuff to do but also made it a safe environment (no bullying, be your personal best kinda attitude), which I think really helped us in the long run. A lot of folks need what you could bring to the table. Good luck!!
