Anon, it’s considered impolite to refer to didgeridoos by name in Australia.  Australians refer to them through a number of euphemisms, such as ‘Roo Tubes, Outback Straws, and Raincallers, though they are also called “Aboriginal Bazookas”, or “zooks” for short.

Once you get off the plane in Australia, you will be given one didgeridoo of your own.  Do NOT openly call it a didgeridoo.  Bow quietly in acknowledgement and carry it with you.  Do not lose it.  If you lose your didgeridoo, you won’t be able to leave Australia.
