Fundamental attribution Error has this virtue: it makes it easy to identify which tribe a pundit or commentator really feels they belong to.
Profess your independence all you want. If it’s always Americans *deciding* to do things & foreigners (especially Muslims) involuntarily and passively responding to them, you’ve declared your allegiance.
