GOOGLE: We take pride in our business of knowing everyone’s approximate salary, age, gender, interests, browsing habits, media habits, driving/walking habits, search history, and a rough social network, and regularly do analyses and optimizations across all that data to best direct advertisements to where they will have the strongest effect.
GOVERNMENT: So. Um. How about some statistics on how much you pay female employees, then?

I smell a troll concept: Argue that it’s capitalism’s fault, because paying men more on average maximises shareholder value, as men are better at programming under this system, and only under full communism, women and men can afford to be equally bad at programming.
