Idea: take one of the big square states, carve it into itty bitty ethnostates (with easy entry but difficult exit), put a fence up on the state border, auction the TV rights to the highest bidder. I just saw an article last week suggesting that using identity politics in the US was a bad plan because the majority can practice identity politics, too, and the definition of “white” has expanded in the past.
