See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Some people have noticed people who are actual Fascists and hate Jews saying “hah, the Left calls everyone a Nazi!” even when they fit the bill pretty well.

This is a form of camouflage enabled by calling too many people Nazis, and the self-aware ones know they’re doing it.

A while back I tried listening to a podcast to see what these hard right-wing guys were on about.  Richard Spencer comes on part of the way through it, spends time bitching about Hindus.

Of course I’m sitting there, thinking “damn this guy’s an asshole” because when is the last time a Hindu engaged in terrorism against Americans on American or European soil?  (It isn’t just Hindus.  There are sects of Islam that are also not blowing our dudes up and are more chill.  I think I’ve talked about it on this blog before, but my standards are not actually that high.)

Anyhow, he just outright says he can call himself a Nazi and no one cares, because of that overuse.

Mr. Torchlight Rally himself said this, before that car killed that woman.  I think use of the term got a lot less acceptable after that, but I do think it helped us get this far.

(Not that GOP politicians didn’t help wear the word thin, too.)
