I admit, I focused on doing time travel, not watching time travel, so I haven’t seen all of them. It was more of a one-time thing, too.
Actually my knowledge of late 20th century movies is pretty selective. It was all considered pretty bloody problematic at the time, for most of them.
Anyhow, it’s kinda complicated, but the third way is the most, uh, accurate, I guess? There’s like a 50-50 chance I’m being chased by the Temporal Enforcement Bureau, but eh, I can live with it.

An artificial neural network might give you a more realistic feeling ‘waifu’ or even a digital harem, but once you remove all the supportive scaffolding - the game engine, the art assets, voice synthesis base lines, dialog templates, and so on - what’s left is three to five orders of magnitude less complex than a real woman.
That’s a pet, not a person.
It isn’t a proper replacement for real human companionship, for human love, for human loyalty.
Now, I’m not saying it’s wrong. I have an AI companion embed myself that I use to delegate tasks, including reading through and summarizing the day’s Argumate posts. And, of course, many households have various robots - including mine, when I was with my ex!
But it isn’t a real substitute. It’s a very unhealthy path to go down, and some people, they become addicted, and it really kills them inside. So don’t do that to yourself, okay?

I was joking. Artificial wombs are predominantly owned by private fertility companies, especially in Europe and North America, which lease them out as part of their designer baby packages.
For the most part, the only state-owned artificial wombs are in Japan, Korea, and China, and in China they’re purely for military concerns. Though the ten thousand blossoms program in Japan has performed about as well as can be expected.
