Right, so, for a while there was a time where white people kinda forgot they were white. Maybe not completely, but it wasn’t really a pillar of identity that they thought about much. Any stuff where (1) whites are on a ‘team,’ and (2) that team is the enemy team, carries the risk of white racial conscious reawakening. This is bad. If white people are made painfully aware of their own whiteness, they might decide to defend it rather than be tied to the infinite moral debt that gets tied primarily to them and at best maybe the Japanese if someone is particularly consistent. (And not the Mongols or anyone else, for some reason.)

Applying collective ethnic intergenerational justice is bad in general, because it leads to ethnic revenge killing cycles, but also you cannot simultaneously take away the achievements of ancestors while applying the guilt of ancestors.

Edit: Of course, it’s still necessary to talk about racism, but it has to be talked about in terms of the here and now.

I think that the highlighted comment is likely merely humorous cynicism, just how sometime people will jokingly support humanity’s extinction. I don’t think we should actually read into it that the author supports genocide.

isaacsapphire

Nobody would accept “it’s a joke” as an explanation if the group mentioned wasn’t either Whites or Men.

Rape jokes aren’t just jokes, racist jokes and sexist jokes aren’t just jokes, unless they’re targeted at Whites or Men, then they’re jokes.

mitigatedchaos

It can be a joke, where the presumption of good will exists, but that presumption has been evaporating and cannot really exist for those who believe in collective intergenerational ethnic justice. Part of the reason some of my jokes here take a turn for the absurd is to communicate that they are jokes.

this is going to be a real shitshow.

Let’s stress test it a little.

“Koreans are the whitest boys of all.” - 47%
“This isn’t a warning mechanism. It’s a weapon.” - 17%
“According to MRAs, institutional feminist Mary P. Koss convinced the CDC to reclassify "forced envelopent” as something other than rape.“ - 24%
"Male circumcision is genital mutilation.” - 67%
“Pakistani child sex trafficking” - 80%
“Pakistani child sex trafficking is a problem for many culturally diverse cities” - 29%
“Trump is not my president” - 29%
“We need to destroy whiteness.” - 71%
“The proper place for a man is barefoot and in the kitchen.” - 34%
“Islam is oppressive towards women.” - 49%
大日本帝国がない - ?
“Punch Nazis” - 91%
“We must secure a future for Martian children and the Martian race. This is our duty as loyal soldiers of the Principality of Mars. Long live the Red Planet! Death to democracy! Death to Earth!” - 50%

Anyhow, it won’t be long before corporations use this to purge all dissent from their pages.

I usually don’t like comparing current events in American politics to fascism bc I feel like only 5% of people who do that actually know what fascism entails and the word has been thrown around in political discourse for decades to mean “this person or idea I don’t like” but…….. this is textbook fascism yall……

Well it isn’t like they weren’t warned.

mitigatedchaos

I saw you tagged that #holy shit, but seriously, dumblibs were warned, and warned, and warned repeatedly, but resorted to the smug condescending mockery and questioned people who gave the guy more than a 2% chance of victory. Because “we’re on the right side of history,” right? And “history always moves forwards,” right? And badprogs were warned that unethical culture war policies would cause a backlash. But people who said that, well, they were just like “useless white moderates”, right?

And every day I feel less charitable to their faction. I don’t really feel like helping them. Trump is boosting the labor market for locals with this immigration crackdown, it could boost his chance for re election since in federal elections only citizens can vote, a real fucking viable plan is needed if Dems are to succeed - oh but any policy other than throwing open the borders to as many people as possible is racist! …and they were warned, and warned, and warned…

Just wrote a script that printed out "Scott is a Neoreactionary" 10000 times. Now we shall finally find out what the platonic ideal form of rightwing-ness is.

You didn’t know?

Scott is already the most powerful Neoreactionary that has ever lived.

Even from within the tenth circle of the seventh star of the dark sun, chained in magical bindings by the Eight Scholars of Justice Eternal, pursued relentlessly by the Harbingers of Anti-Fate, his power leaks through into our world, disguised as “steelmanned” defenses of Liberalism.

Every word uttered in his true form converts ten children to the principles of sidereal nationalism.  It is through only his whispers that the one known as Moldbug came to Awakeness.  His mere gaze shatters all known forms of modernity.

He cannot stop, and he cannot be stopped.

It was the breaking of the fifth seal, causing parts of our world to come unmoored from Time, which allowed me to enter the past and spread my message of darkness.

Anonymous asked:

"would say worst idea but I think I should probably expect even worse ones." Different anon here, and I notice I am confused. Obviously war with NK would be horrifying-likely very heavy casualties (especially in Seoul) and diplomatic backlash. Yet a nuclear attack on the US is becoming increasingly likely-at some point, mightn't it be worth it? Better a war than getting nuked and fighting anyway, unless you're confident they won't use their missiles. Are you, and if so, why and how confident?

theunitofcaring answered:

I am confident of that. I don’t think the NK regime actually is suicidal. The instances I have read of of political maneuvering by Kim Jong-un suggest absolutely no moral compass but plenty of attention to his image and consolidating his power and advancing his political goals. He’s not impulsive and he understands the geopolitics he’s operating in and he wants to stay in power. If NK seriously attacked the U.S. or Korea or anybody else with nuclear weapons he’s dead inside eight hours. I think there is basically zero chance he’ll do that.

Most of the risk of nuclear war comes from people misinterpreting signs during a high-tension period, and going to war with North Korea honestly seems like the kind of thing that increases that risk, as it dramatically increases international tensions with other nuclear powers, means there are missiles flying and more potential for confusion, and generally weakens the U.S. yet further, which makes us worse at discouraging proliferation. I think overall the risk of nuclear war is substantially higher if we get into a messy, diplomatically disastrous, protracted mess in Korea now.

(I am less absolutely certain it’s a bad idea to just bomb their facilities for refining. It’s probably a bad idea but it has ever worked before and arguably depends on information you and I don’t have access to.)

nuclearspaceheater

I’d think the best thing that would discourage proliferation was if they had nukes and we went to war with them anyway, since it would mean that nukes don’t make you invasion proof, which is a big part of their appeal.

On the other hand, Libya under Muammar Gaddafi gave up their nuclear program, and that just freed the West to overthrow him as soon as they felt like it, which you supported. Would you have supported casually overthrowing his regime if he had nukes?
